Newborn session

I always have and always will have a soft spot for newborn sessions. There is something so lovely about arriving in a home where there is a new baby. It feels like you’re being invited in to a little bubble and that time stands still. Those early days when all you need to think about is feeding, sleeping, changing - repeat. It is an honour to be there to help capture memories of this precious time. Each session is different but my priority is always making sure that everyone is relaxed (as relaxed as you can be when having a newborn) and to photograph the connection between mum, dad and baby. I swear that Toby, who was only around three weeks at the time, was smiling at his parents a number of times.

Little Toby was nothing less than a rockstar, just look at his hair and you’ll see what I mean :)
